HTML ASCII Characters Listed in Numerical Order

ASCII stands for American Standard Code for Information Interchange. In order to display certain characters or symbols within your HTML pages, you must use either a special HTML code, numeric code or hex code. The ASCII characters list below shows you the value for each character in HTML, Numeric, Hex value and a brief description of the symbol when it is displayed on your web page.

The characters are listed in ascending numerical sequence according to the ASCII code values as shown in column one, below. ASCII codes in the range 0-31 cannot be displayed. ASCII characters in the range 32-127 are very likely to have the correct symbol displayed against the code value and name.

would look some thing like

in html code if it was written in code view on a website page. Bear in mind that not all browsers support all the codes, so be sure to test your HTML codes before you use them.
